Resort Review - Club Manila East

For our company outing this year, we visited the Club Manila East (CME) in Taytay, Rizal. The resort is very easy to find even if you are unfamiliar with Rizal area because it is highly accessible to both private and public transportation. The resort's sign boards are prominently displayed on the entrance beside the highway so it is hard to miss locating the place.

The resort is situated on a sprawling area and contains adequate facilities and attractions for the enjoyment of visitors,

Aside from the numerous swimming pools dotting the place, there are two big pools with beach waves which are very popular among the visitors. The waves feels very real without being frightening compared to actual waves in real beaches, Even small children can go at the middle portion safely. In one of the pools with beach waves, some swimmers are actually surfing and riding the waves as if they are in the actual sea.

Another unique attraction are the zip lines which adventurous visitors ride singly or by two's and let's them experience the thrill of "flying" over the pools and the whole complex.

There is also the 3 or 4 story high twisting slide and the kayaks which are free for everybody to use.

The cottages and cabanas have been named based on the various municipalities in the province of Rizal. It has adequate provisions with private shower and toilet.

It is prohibited to bring in food and drinks inside the resort so the visitors can go to Jollibee or Chowking for their meals and snacks inside the place.

Overall, CME is a good place to go and I will recommend it to some people who wants to get some recreation and swimming enjoyment without going too far from the city. It is just a few minutes ride from Antipolo and Pasig.
